Shokz Ultra-Soft Silicone™ 2.0 — Soft Cushioning for All-Day Comfort
Shokz has newly developed the Shokz Ultra-Soft Silicone™ 2.0 to specifically enhance wearing comfort of the OpenFit 2+. Our use of silicone material dates back to 2016, when we started using silicone to make the casing of our sports headphones. In 2018, we introduced liquid silicone to further improve both performance and texture.
Later, user feedback revealed that potential discomfort could occur at the contact point between the earbuds and the concha (the inner part of the outer ear). In response to this, we introduced our first-generation Shokz Ultra-Soft Silicone™ 1.0 in the OpenFit. But we did not stop there.
Soft as marshmallows, Shokz Ultra-Soft Silicone™ 2.0 is our self-developed silicone material that serves as a cushion for added comfort, ensuring that the earbuds fit comfortably throughout the day.
The OpenFit 2+—marks our latest evolution in TWS earbuds. Compared with the first-generation OpenFit, it has received major upgrades in sound quality, fit comfort, and control buttons—based on user feedback.
