I walk every day and love listening to podcasts. I finally decided to go wireless. After buying a set of earphones I discovered they definitely did not suit me as I had an adverse allergic type reaction to the silicon (yep, I too thought that couldn’t happen!) I was bemoaning this at my book club when one of my friends said she at the solution - Shokz. She’d done the research and was a huge fan.
After also researching, I bought some an open Fit Air. The process of purchasing online was very smooth with quick delivery. They were very easy to setup and pair with my iPhone. My Shokz have been comfortable to wear, easy to use and I am now a big fan. I head off on my walk happy

I'd heard about Shokz and how great they were. I was working remotely in the Northern Territory 2 hours from the nearest town with a post station. True to their word the earphones arrived within 3 days of purchase. Only problem was the mail arrived to the post office half an hour after we left town to head home 😥... waiting a whole week I kept coming across people wearing theirs and I was super excited and eager to go to town to pick up mine. On town day I made sure to remind the boss don't forget to pick up my mail. When he arrived back knowing how excited I was he said he'd forgotten to pick up the mail. I pouted and he burst our laughing-of course he remembered how could he forget its all I talked about for the last 2 weeks.
Now I'm inseperable. They are so easy and convenient. I can wear my cap and sunnies with them on. The charge lasts ages and the sound quality is awesome! Super impressed and will definitely purchase again!

The Shokz OpenFit Air headphones have been a perfect fit for my lifestyle in both work and play. As someone who works remotely I spend most of my days in online meetings, the sound clarity is exceptional, ensuring smooth communication and the microphone does an excellent job of blocking outside noise. I love the open-ear design, they are very comfortable to wear and allow me to stay aware of my surroundings while walking my dog or working out at the gym. The quick-charge case is perfect with a short break on charge there is always enough power to last through my entire workday and beyond. These headphones are great. I recommend them to anyone who needs a set of high quality headphones for work and play.

Unfortunately, customer service was poor.

The product was supposed to be shipped with a free protective case ($20 value), which I did not receive.

I responded as such via 'reply to this email' (I replied to the original order confirmation email). After a week of no response, I responded using the [****] email instead (noting that the original response 'reply-to' method was a 'do not reply' email address – Shokz AU !!!)

I was asked to provide photos of the products received, logistic face sheet of the parcel, and the product information sheet within the parcel. Since I could not provide the face sheet/product information sheet (it had been over a week and I had recycled them), I was not eligible for full order fulfilment. It didn't matter that the requested logistic face sheet and product information sheet would be of no relevance – my email order confirmation provides similar detail. Even if the face sheet/product sheet listed the free protective case, it is far from proof that the order had been fulfilled (having them present on the face sheet/product sheet is not proof of fulfilment). And what is the point of providing a photo of the products received? Such a photo would not prove anything ("Here is a photo of my product – see how my protective case is NOT present"...???). I guess this is one method for such businesses to capitalise on consumer ignorance.

None of the above is of real concern (a 'free'/$20 protective case is hardly worth the hassle) – but I did receive a rather condescending/patronising 'customer service' response email, outlining:
– "I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced with your order."
– "I completely understand your frustration..."
– "We regret that this was not your experience this time."
– "If there is any way we can assist further, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are here to ensure your satisfaction with our product and service."
– "Thank you for your patience, and again, I’m truly sorry for the oversight."

Why bother sending such an email (admitting to the ‘oversight’) when there is clearly no intention/meaning behind the words?

Honestly, there are numerous competing products out there, many of which are better quality. Customer service can be a differentiating factor – as such, I will never shop with Shokz again.

In any case, be sure to keep your product packaging, logistic face sheet (that is attached to the parcel), product information sheet (that is within the parcel), and photographs of your ordered products (including those of products not received 😊) – you never know when you might need them!

I can't believe that they made these not able to change the volume. When you are running you don't want to have to mess around with your phone to change volume.
