Hi, would that be good idea that the speaker bit that touches my skin could be made of plastic? maybe my skin is a bit oily, I found the paint on the speaker part that touches my skin starting to bubble up and peeling off !!

I bought these for 2 and a half reasons. Before purchasing them I was quite sceptical as to how well they would perform, but I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

I work with machines such as mowers, whipper snippers, chainsaws etc. At work we aren't allowed earbuds as they are substituted as hearing protection, so the open ear bone conducting technology was a massive plus for me. I have found that wearing them with ear plugs in (or atleast the ones I use) muffles the music quite significantly, however this is when the ear plug is pushed in quite firmly due to really loud equipment. I can make the audio clear again if I push the vibrator to my head a bit more than where it sits.
Please note I can still hear the music and bop along, it just isn't crystal clear like it normally is.

I'm also completely deaf in one ear, so to wear an ear bud in my good ear does not allow me to hear the outside world while I'm weeding etc. I would normally have my phone playing in my pocket but it distracts others and gets in the way so I don't normally do that.
With the open ear I'm super happy with its ability to play music and allows me to hear when other people are talking to me, and the ease of pausing or adjusting the volume is fantastic.

I forget I even have them on and will just walk around all day with them on forgetting I have them.
I also have loved taking phone calls with them on. One button click and I'm hands free talking while I can still continue working.

I love running and was very surprised when they didn't fall off. I expected the bit behind the head to shake around but it doesn't move at all. It does catch on my collar if I'm ever looking straight up, but that isn't very often.

Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Shokz has changed my life - seriously. I don't go outside without these, and they're so light that I often forget that I'm wearing them inside.

I have sensory issues, which means I get overwhelmed easily by certain sounds or excess stimuli. You'd think adding in music on top of this would be adding insult to injury, but it actually distracts my brain enough that I can actually function without overloading. I really mean it when I say that they're life-changing. I can now sit down to a dinner with people who don't notice I'm wearing headphones and have full conversations with them without flinching if there's any mouth noise. A revelation!

I wear glasses and have earrings, and one of my biggest gripes with headphones was that they made my ears hurt. I struggled with earbuds, which would continually fall out of my ear or make my ear canal sore. Shokz fit over my glasses and don't seem to squeeze my head at all - no soreness at the end of a long day at work. Again, so light that I forget they're there until they beep to let me know I've moved away from my desk Bluetooth connection.

They're wonderful for heading outside and exercising, working in the garden or taking a train ride into the city - you're fully aware of your surroundings, but you also get the benefit of your personal playlist or fave podcast. I've only ever struggled to hear with them once, and that was due to being right next to a very busy highway.

Fully recommend these - may even get the swimming set next time as I'd love to start swimming to relax, which would be difficult to do without my Shokz.

Amazing product. I’ve nearly been hit by cars when using airpods when running due to not hearing the vehicle noises. My Shokz mini have saved me countless times as I can hear traffic and I’m much more situationally aware
