Ever since the Shokz brand was introduced to me 4 years ago, their range of bone conduction headphones have been a go-to product for me. They sit comfortably, have excellent sound quality considering they don't actually sit within the ear, allow me to retain my sense of environment when running or walking the dogs, and in their latest iterations have fantastic microphones built into their devices.
The customer service is also excellent, and they fully back their 2 year warranty on their products. The first set of headphones I had were excellent, but after a year and a half the battery no longer charged. They immediately sent a replacement, and not only a replacement, but the next model (since the one I had was no longer in production). There were no complex forms or delays, I had a replacement within a week. This was very reassuring and from this point on I knew this was a product I could invest in.
Now I am on my third set of headphones. They are not for everyone, but for me they are perfect. In ear head phones are not stable, but the Shokz headphones such as the OpenRun never fall off. I do wish they had longer battery life, but the slim design has to have some trade-offs.
Overall, would recommend these headphones to all that enquire.

When I first tried on my Openruns, before even turning them on I was a little underwhelmed by the fit. They felt loose around my head and I wasn't sure they were going to work for me.

On my first run my worries were quickly put to bed, after a little fiddling with the fit and playing the controls I was straight into it. I've since knocked out runs, hikes, bike rides and kayaking and SUP adventures.

They're so comfortable and ergonomic that I often forget they are there, forgetting to take them off when I've turned off the tunes. I've worn them with sunglasses and a hat no worries.

The sound quality is surprisingly good for what I was expecting from bone conduction headphones, especially after reading some of the online reviews. As someone who listens to music almost all day and values sound quality these more than meet the mark for activities where you're out and about and need to be alert. I wouldn't recommend them for finding new music if the sound experience is important to you but I use dedicated headphones for daily use anyway. Calls are crystal clear and I personally haven't had any issues with volume yet, even in the wind.

I've taken one dip into the ocean with them on (by mistake, falling off my SUP) and they are fine. Not recommended as entirely waterproof by the manufacturer but I suspect these would hold up in most water adjacent situations besides swimming, surfing and anything where you're spending a lot of time in the water.

I mainly bought these to use whilst snowboarding and have yet to test them out under a buff or helmet but based on previous experiences with earphones and helmet speakers I don't expect these to be any more uncomfortable.

Overall, highly recommended! Very affordable if you shop the sales but would consider getting the mini over the standard, I'm 5' 10", 75kg and people have regularly made jokes about my large head and I could definitely rock the minis.

As a keen runner, I wanted to replace ear pods with something that was secure. The openrun stays securely in place and amazingly works comfortably with wearing glasses and a cap (which I always do). They don't get in the way of each other.

Yes, the safety is important (countless others have spoken about that), but for me the sound quality is key and the physical controls are very easy to use. Definitely a staple on my running adventures now.

I bought the openrun mini for running and they have made such a huge difference to my experience. I was previously wearing wired, in ear buds and they were a nightmare. The cords always pulled and the buds would regularly fall out. Since buying the open run mini I have eliminated those problems! The audio quality is great and I feel a lot safer being able to hear traffic noise etc as well. They are comfortable on my ears and do not move at all. The sizing guide was easy to utilise and the mini fits well. I would definitely recommend the openrun for running.

Bought these for my half marathon training and honestly the best decision. They are so comfortable and don’t move at all during my run. The sound quality is fantastic. A major factor to buying them was transitioning to running in the dark as we enter winter and I feel super safe wearing them. Have recommended to my training buddy and she also loves them.
