Game changer

The open run headphones have changed my life. I had never experienced bone conduction style headphones before and was sceptical to say the least. Multiple glowing recommendations from fellow runners convinced me that I needed to try these in place of my trusty earbuds. The first run I went on with the open runs was amazing - who knew that this was the style of headphone I wish I’d been using all along! They are lightweight and fit comfortably in place. They don’t move around when I run. Battery life is good. The sound quality is comparable or equivalent to in ear buds but with the advantage of being able to hear my surroundings. This is a big plus for me as I’m an early morning runner when it is often dark, so I need all my senses to stay safe. When I’m close to busy roads I can just nudge up the volume. The buttons on the headphones are easy to use. They took a little getting used to, but I’m now comfortable with touch required. Yet to try them in the rain but I’m confident that they will deliver. I think shokz will be my new go to.

Great headphones all round!

I love my new Shokz, I find them comfortable to wear for hours (no pressure and no inner ear discomfort!).

They are great for running and cyclings, the stay put and produce clear sound while also allowing you to maintain awareness of you surroundings in urban environments and interact with others when overtaking or meeting on the trail.

Being banded is also great as you can flick them onto your neck where they remain secured if you need to have a conversation free of distraction. Remote controls on the unit also allow for easy song and volume changes.

I have also found a surprising use for them in the office, being able to listen to music and my colleagues can easily grab my attention or ask me questions without disruption to my listening - seamless work and listening time!

Excellent headphones for sport and outdoor use

The Shokz OpenRun are by far the best headphones I’ve used for running. The sound is surprisingly clear for bone conduction, with good mids and highs and no distortion even at high volume.

They're extremely comfortable and stable, even during intense movement. I can wear them for hours without any pressure or irritation.

Battery life is great and the fast charge is super handy when you're in a rush.

The open-ear design is perfect for staying aware of your surroundings, especially in urban or traffic-heavy areas. It’s a safe and smart choice for outdoor training.

So Comfy, Great Sound!

Finding headphones that actually feel good, even after hours, is tough. Most in-ear ones hurt after a while, and big over-ear headphones make you feel cut off. But then I tried the OpenRun open-ear headphones, and wow, what a difference! They're super comfortable and the sound is surprisingly good.

Crazy Comfortable
Seriously, the comfort is a game-changer. These headphones sit outside your ears, gently resting on your cheekbones. That means no more sore ears, no pressure, no irritation – just pure comfort. I've worn them for whole workdays, on long runs, and during my commute, and honestly, I often forget I have them on. They're incredibly light and stay put without feeling tight. If you struggle with uncomfortable headphones, you have to try these.

Clear Sound, Plus You Can Hear What's Around You
You might think open-ear headphones wouldn't sound great, but the OpenRun totally proved me wrong. The audio is really clear and full. Voices sound crisp, and there's a nice balance to the music. While they won't give you booming bass like some big headphones, it's definitely enough for most songs and sounds really satisfying.

The best part about the sound is that you can still hear everything else around you. This is huge! When I'm running outside, I can enjoy my music but still hear traffic or people. At home or in the office, I can listen to a podcast and still hear if someone calls my name. It's the perfect mix of enjoying your audio and staying aware of your surroundings.

If you're looking for headphones that are incredibly comfortable and deliver surprisingly good sound while keeping you aware of your surroundings, the OpenRun open-ear headphones are an awesome choice. They've become my go-to, and I think you'll love them too.
