“I heard the breath of an approaching humpback whale!”

——Dave, UK
I was wearing my Shokz Aeropex during my transatlantic row crossing, Fortunately, i was able to hear the surroundings during one of my evening row shifts and I heard the breath of an approaching humpback whale! I took the opportunity to jump in the water and swim alongside this magnificent creature before it sped on through. if i had been plugged into any other headphones i may have missed the opportunity of a lifetime.

Navigate every step together
As a guide for visually impaired runners, my Shokz are key for tracking our pace and distance, allowing me to stay alert to hazards without distractions.

—— Gavin and Dave
I'm a guide for visually impaired, blind and deafblind runners and use my shokz as a vital tool to keep track of our distance and pace without interrupting or distracting the person that I'm running with, or having to constantly check my running watch. I can keep my eyes and ears open for hazards like vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, speed bumps and potholes.

Communication is key and shokz open design means that I can get regular updates from my watch and still hear the person I'm guiding and listen out for hazards. It also doesn't distract them, or cut across information that's important in that moment - like whether there's turn coming up, or a speed bump or pothole that we need to navigate, or what we both watched on TV last night. Sadly, in the case of Gavin who I ran the 2019 London Marathon with, it does mean I can still hear his terrible jokes.

Gavin is a former international cricketer - a fast bowler - and loves to sprint up hills. Wearing shokz means I can focus on keeping up with him as he beasts me up the hill, or avoid running in to yet another bollard. (Yes, he has a knack of making me run into bollards.) They also mean that I can keep track of how much time we have left on our current rep when we're doing interval training, while keeping an eye / ear out for cyclists or dog walkers. And during the marathon they meant I could hear the updates over the pounding of 40,000 pairs of feet and soak in the support from the crowd.

Empower Your Journey
This year I ran 2 marathons, 2 half marathons, and a number of other races for Teenage Cancer Trust, all with the help of my Shokz. I was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago and am very happy to still be here.

Since I started back running in 2018 with the C25K program, as most do, I initially struggled with earbuds falling out when running outside. Switching to my Shokz was a game-changer. I not only used them for running but also for the many conference calls during the pandemic. Their quality led to at least 4 of my friends purchasing them.

I just finished the York marathon and with the help of my Shokz and Rick Astley I sang my way through the last 5km. Other runners must have thought they were hallucinating.

Your indispensable running partner
Shokz revolutionized my runs, from local races to half marathons, with unparalleled comfort and clarity.

—— Daniel Hatt
I started running in 2004 with the Great Ireland run, but a foot injury afterward kept me away from the sport for nearly a decade.

Music became a crucial part of my running routine. Initially using sports earbuds, I later discovered Shokz, which revolutionized my experience with their open-ear design. I began participating in more races, including my first half marathon at the Windsor Half Marathon.

Now, I run about four 10ks a week and aim for half marathon distances on Sundays. My fitness is back on track, and I'm excited to complete more races, experiencing the energy of the crowds with my Shokz, an indispensable part of my running journey.

The sound experience is amazing! Feels like you have the music in your head but your not fully disconnect from environmental sounds, which is important for me working with horses.

@larissas__journey
So light and comfortable you'll forget you're wearing them! They don't slip off while running, and since they don't block your ears, you can hear the sounds around you without worry - even though they are bone-conduction, each sound is clear and you can enjoy powerful sound. Thanks to this, your steps become lighter and you can run in rhythm. Shokz has made my running life more enjoyable.

The new wireless OpenFit headphones from Shokz are super comfortable to wear, whether at home, at work or at the gym. I mainly use them myself every day at the gym.

@ollimuenchen
With the OpenFit headphones from Shokz I've created a real bubble for my practice, while remaining available for my children when they need me. They've really become a part of my everyday life.
