Wang Jiachao, born in a small village in Yunnan, was found by the Yunnan Provincial Disabled Swimming Team and became a swimmer at the age of 10. He lost his left arm due to an accident when he was 5 years old. In his swimming career, he represented the Chinese team in 3 Paralympic Games in Athens, Beijing and London, winning 1 gold medal, 4 silver and 1 bronze. "The value of a person is not only to realise his own goal, but also to inspire others". For the people around him, enjoying the healthiness, happiness and self-transcendence in sports is way more meaningful than financial success.
